When pure blood portrays the rose on a white sheet
The sweet mild rose in my arms
It’s the sensual way to exist
Those stars in the scars
The painter’s mournful bliss
Too many paintings, too many outlines
Once my paintbrush will bury me deep
Once it was clean like the child
Waiting to soak into scarlet
And I’m growing too wild
The beast will never be fed
